Abstrak

Inventory data processing in offices needs to be carried out to ensure proper documentation and administrative order. The inventory management system for office equipment at MAN 1 Banyuwangi is still conducted manually using a logbook specifically for recording item borrowing. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve inventory management by developing a web-based inventory information system. The purpose of this study is to develop a web-based inventory information system that can assist MAN 1 Banyuwangi in optimizing the recording and monitoring of office equipment. The development of this inventory system applies the Waterfall method, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, system testing, system implementation, and system maintenance.

The first stage is requirement analysis, which is conducted through interviews with the head of the administrative staff, direct observations at the school, and related literature studies. Next, the system design stage is carried out, which includes designing the user interface and database. After the design stage is completed, the system is implemented by developing a web-based application according to the designed specifications. The next stage is system testing to ensure that all features function properly. The final stage is maintenance, which includes system improvements and further development according to the school's needs. The result of this study is a web-based Inventory Information System software that helps the school staff manage the recording of incoming goods, outgoing goods, borrowing, and returning of items digitally. This system also assists in generating real-time inventory stock reports. With this application, inventory management at MAN 1 Banyuwangi becomes more structured. The implementation of the Waterfall method has been carried out systematically, as evidenced by the successful implementation and testing of the system.
