Abstrak

The role of technology and information currently plays a very important role, one of which is in the business world, the use of technology in the business world is one of the important pillars to support the success of running business operations in order to achieve the business goals desired by these business people. One of the business operations in a company is sales activities. In order to streamline operational activities and produce sales reports in a business, a computerized system is needed to streamline sales activities. CV. XYZ in data processing activities in its sales business operations still uses a system that has not yet implemented a computerized data processing system. This study aims to streamline sales operational activities, especially in the sales data processing process by designing and creating a chemical sales system at CV. XYZ which is computerized and integrated with the database. The waterfall model is used as a research method to approach the development of a sales data processing system in this study, so that with a computerized sales data processing system and integrated with the database, the sales data processing process becomes more effective and efficient. The chemical sales system that has been computerized and integrated with the database is very helpful for the sales department in processing sales data to be more effective and efficient as well as in the financial reporting process to be timely and accurate.
