Rancang Bangun Aplikasi E-Church Berbasis Android (Studi Kasus: GBI Rock Balikpapan)

Abstrak

Abstract: The development of information technology offers opportunities for churches to enhance their services through digital platforms. This study aims to design and develop an Android-based e-Church application as a solution to facilitate church activities, particularly at GBI ROCK Balikpapan. The application is designed to support various features, such as worship schedules, church news, community management, and access to spiritual content, including daily devotionals and sermon videos. The development method employed is the Waterfall model, starting with requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The results of the study indicate that the application provides convenience for congregants in accessing church information, participating in spiritual activities, and supporting transparency in donation management. Testing using the Black-Box method confirms that the application functions as designed. The implementation of the e-Church application is expected to improve interaction between the church and its congregation in a more efficient and modern manner.
