Abstrak

PT Transcosmos Commerce is a company engaged in the creative industry with flexible working hours policy and gives employees the freedom to work from anywhere. However, the company does not yet have a daily attendance system, which causes some employees to disobey the entry hour rules. This has an impact on the lack of discipline and the difficulty of monitoring the attendance of employees regularly. This research aims to design a daily attendance system at PT Transcosmos Commerce based on Internet of Things (IoT) technology and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) using RC522, ESP8266 and ESP32-Cam. The research methods used include analyzing employee attendance patterns, interviews with company management, and literature reviews related to digital attendance systems. The results showed that the attendance system based on IoT and RFID is able to provide more accurate attendance records. The implementation of this system is expected to improve employee discipline through more effective attendance monitoring, with attendance reports entering the database every day. Thus, it is expected that the company's productivity can be better maintained without disrupting the flexible working hours policy that has been implemented.
