The rapid development of digital technology and the shift in work culture after the pandemic have encouraged organizations to adopt hybrid work as a flexible and sustainable work model. While hybrid work offers benefits such as increased productivity, well-being, and operational efficiency, it also presents challenges related to equity, bias, and performance management. This study aims to analyze how hybrid work is managed within office environments and assess its contribution to achieving SDG 8 on Decent Work and Economic Growth. Using a systematic literature review approach, this research examines academic publications from 2020–2025. The findings indicate that the effectiveness of hybrid work relies significantly on the integration of digital technologies, output-based performance evaluation, and ethical leadership capable of reducing bias and ensuring inclusivity. Beyond improving individual and organizational performance, hybrid work also contributes to broader economic and environmental sustainability through enhanced competitiveness and reduced commuting emissions. Overall, hybrid work can serve as a strategic instrument to promote decent work, fairness, and sustainable economic growth when managed through equitable and human-centered practices.
